COMING SOON!

Good Grief is growing again!

We are excited that our fourth support group will soon begin in Olympia WA, on Saturday mornings twice a month.

Working widows will like this, as will all widows in the downtown Olympia area.

It will be hosted at St. John's Episcopal Church.

Look for specifics to be announced soon.

Good grief news Update

Attendance in our three groups is growing weekly. Ladies are spreading the word,

GOOD GRIEF IS A RESOURCE FOR THURSTON AND MASON COUNTY AREA ON AGING

The Good Grief Support Group has operated consistently for over six years helping approximately 70 recent and not so recent widows learn how to live with their grief rather than in it. They empower, educate and support one another in a unique setting of sisterhood.

Our weekly meetings, and occasional activities and gatherings bring widows together in friendship, helping them know they are not alone.

Who We Are

Our History

Good Grief was founded in 2016 by Suzy Petty, a new widow seeking sisterhood.  It began with six ladies meeting weekly sharing the book "From One Widow to Another".  It has continued and expanded to three separate support groups and a non-profit organization.

About Good Grief

Our Vision

At Good Grief, our vision is to create a sisterhood of widows to encourage healing while thriving rather than surviving
